El primer disco en vivo de Van Morrison tiene todos los elementos de soul, rhythm and blues, folk, jazz, rock, funk, pop y blues que el petiso genial estuvo trabajando desde su comienzo con los Them hasta Hard Nose the Highway, el excelente álbum de estudio grabado el año anterior a este.
En los primeros ocho años de su carrera (1965 - 1973), Morrison grabó nueve discos (dos con los Them, siete solistas) repletos de canciones geniales, poesía hermosa y mixturas únicas de influencias variadísimas. En 1973, Van decidió que era hora de un álbum en vivo, y logró esta joya vital, emotiva, que posee una selección de composiciones -propias y ajenas- perfecta y una banda que se cuenta entre las mejores que Van the Man ha tenido. Morrison sigue escribiendo y grabando hasta el día de hoy, y todos sus discos tienen, como mínimo, algo rescatable (aunque de vez en cuando, por supuesto, graba bellezas que son mención obligada entre los mejores álbumes del año). Sin embargo este es, últimamente, el disco de él al que más vuelvo. Una hora y media de placer insuperable.

Cualquier disco de Van The Man hay que tenerlo.
Aunque yo tengo una predileccíón especial por el "Astral Weeks (1968)" uno de los mejors albums de todos los tiempos, este que has posteado es también extraordinario.
